If you are embellishing brand name items and reselling them with the brand name you MUST obtain legal licensing to profit commercially. Without licensing, your item is considered an illegal counterfeit both by the company AND Etsy.
This is to protect the company. For example, if someone was selling serial killer imagery, or DDLG BDSM imagery, graphic nudity or vulgar swear words.
Stanley needs to control their name and brand image.
Just because you see others on Etsy breaking the law doesn't mean it isn't illegal (or you won't be lucky enough to get caught).

Unless you are reselling brand new items you didn't design or make? That wouldn't be allowed on Etsy.
