Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or any clue why it's happening:
Yesterday I made 17 new listings as part of a drop--I sell original paintings and release the new works in batches and this was the latest batch. Instead of closing my entire shop to update, I just made a bunch of draft listings and left them in the drafts folder until I was ready to go live at a given time I'd announced on social media and on my mailing list. At that time, I batch published all the draft listings and they started selling right away (that part was amazing!).
The issue came when a couple of my customers wrote to say they couldn't see my update. My shop was loading on their apps, but it wasn't showing the new listings. I suggested they try a different browser, refresh the page, close the app and restart, etc, but none of that worked and they were never able to see the new items. One customer even got in touch with Etsy customer service to try to figure out the problem and the first rep told her to report my shop (lol what) and the next rep she talked to said I hadn't posted any new listings yesterday. Which I definitely did.
The issue wasn't across the board, because tons of other people were able to access and make purchases from the listings, so I'm just confused about what happened.
I've done updates to my shop as described lots of times and to my knowledge this has never happened before. I'm not too worried about the one time, but I would love to know if there's something I can do on my end so it doesn't happen again. It's super frustrating for customers who had their eye on something specific.
If anyone has any ideas about why this happened or how to prevent it, I'd love suggestions!
