Shop Frozen After EIN Update – Request for Escalation

Hi,

Etsy Support informed me that my shop could resume selling, but in Shop Manager my shop still appears frozen and all listings remain inactive.

This started after I updated my account from a sole proprietor (SSN) to an LLC (EIN). I’ve already provided my IRS EIN assignment letter and government ID directly in my open support ticket.

The IRS confirmation notes it can take up to two weeks before the EIN appears in the IRS permanent records, which may be why Etsy’s automated system isn’t matching yet.

Could a moderator please help escalate this to the Taxpayer Information / Trust & Safety team so that my account can be manually reviewed and my shop reactivated?

Mods don't come here to help sellers with their shop problems.

Based on many posts similar to yours, there have been countless problems after this change from SP to LLC was attempted. And several sellers gave up and decided to go back to SP just to get their shops functioning again.
