I've had my shop for 8 years and never had a problem. A couple weeks ago Etsy put my shop on "vacation" and said to update my taxpayer information, which I did by uploading the requested paperwork that did not expire until December 2025. Every time I upload a document, they say its not correct but won't tell me what I need to do! I've sent numerous emails asking for help and specifics, but all I get is a generic response telling me to upload a different document or to fill out a form -- AND, each time I attempt to complete the form they ask, it's greyed-out and I cannot submit it! This is completely ridiculous for a company as large as Etsy. One would think they would do their best to get their customers up and running, considering they make money from us! ETSY PLEASE HELP!!!

Is there a way to chat or speak with an Etsy representative?? I am a very unhappy customer!
There is a chat option but they will be no help as they are not Etsy employees, only an outsourced entity reading from a script. If your question is not in their script they will tell you they are escalating it just to get rid of you--or they will just disconnect the conversation.
Is it another shop? This shop you're posting from is open....
Your shop is not closed or on vacation, but there are no payment options available.
Is your bank account in good standing? Did your credit card expire?
Otherwise, reply to only one of Support's emails stating that the problem is not resolved. Mention the grayed out form and inability to submit it. Keep your reply short and to the point.
