The announcement area is having a display issue where the 3rd line of the announcement is partially showing and it looks odd.
Not a huge deal, but it only just started looking like this and it is distracting and it looks like an error. It almost looks like you should be able to scroll the announcement but you can't.
It would be better if the line was moved down so it doesn't show only the tops of the letters of that sentence.
It displays this way on both a desktop and laptop using Chrome.
It does look odd...one good thing, when I click on see more there are no issues.
Maybe contact Etsy?
It's been this way since last week and it does look bad.
It USED TO look just fine, so some kind of dicking around with the site caused this.
From what I can tell it's only in shops that have more than one short paragraph; those one paragraph ones are displayed correctly.
I didn't even bother telling Etsy, as it would probably go to the bottom of the stack of things needing to be fixed. And, who knows, it might come back to its former look eventually.
But, in the meantime I'll enjoy my shop looking like a slow-witted 3-year-old set it up.
I noticed this last week. (I'm on a laptop/W10/Chrome) Wonder if the changes they made to shops' front pages due to the shop policy changes caused this glitch?
But yes, when I click on read more, everything is displayed correctly.
Mine looks like this too now (Firefox on a Mac desktop), am hoping it'll get fixed eventually but not holding my breath!
Hi @michellepatterns mine went the same way the other day, I just went in and moved my third line another line down. Nuisance though.
edit - I'm using my chromebook.
Good tip! I'm going to do that now.
