Shop Age Display Issue After Etsy Update

ETSY recently updated the shop pages to show how many years you've been on Etsy. Mine is way off—it says 7 years, but I only opened my shop a year ago. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Hi, Mine is accurate, and I am in this test. What many others are noticing, the highest number Etsy is showing, is 14 Years. I haven't seen someone say as you are, that Etsy took away from their years

I seem to have been robbed of 4 years! The app is accurate at 18, desktop reads 14.

Mine is correct... 14 years.

It was displayed before, just in a different location.

They are always tinkering... the only constant is change.

Strange—if you scroll down to the my About section, it says 'On Etsy since 2024,' and that one is correct.

My shop has been on etsy for 18 years (when they were just starting as a little crew in Brooklyn!) but on the desktop site it says 14, however on the app it is accurate.

Hi, yes, the same for me. Says I have been on Etsy for 9 years but I opened my shop late 2021.

I figured that's because I first started buying from Etsy then and I kept the same email when I opened my shop. So I'm guessing the two haven't been separated. I don't like mine at all LOL, it looks like I have been selling for 9 years and in fact it is way less. Personally I think it looks awful and too much in your face. And the fact it is incorrect information...sigh

I joined Etsy 13 years ago, but I only opened my shop one year ago. On the app, the shop age is displayed correctly, but on the desktop version, it shows that my shop is 7 years old. I wish there were a way to report this mistake. I don’t like that it’s showing incorrect information—especially since it makes it look like I’ve only made 100 sales in 7 years, which isn’t true.

It was mentioned by Cindylouwho2 in another thread that the reason for the 14 years that everyone is seeing is because 2010 was the year they started showing our Stats. So it doesn't go back any farther than that in the test. Also why it is correct in our About sections since that is a different part of the programming.

I heard that too but It's not difficult for them to look back and see when our first sales were.

Many people have reported this problem here in Etsy for over the past few weeks, so it must be some kind of glitch.

Mine is showing 14 years but I've been on since 2008. Come on Etsy get it right!

Mine is off too.  I'm ignoring it as this Etsy problem is a smaller one.
