Customer asked me to ship after 2 weeks she was out of town. I was holding on hee order until she Back in town!

You must extend the ship by date.
You should have extended the ship date on the order. I don't know if it's too late to do that now.
You should have changed the shipping date. You can't do it after the original shipping date arrives.
@Pardesigirl2017: As soon as you realize that you will not be able to ship on or before the scheduled ship by date (regardless of reason, be it customer request, postal holiday, etc) you need to update the scheduled ship by date before that date arrives. In a situation like this, you should extend the ship by date by clicking on the 3 dots, then Update the Ship By date. You can only do it once, and you have to do it at least the day before it is due, or it won't let you.
