Shipping to Canada

Dear Etsy, you've marked Canadian postal services as unavailable due to the strike. Therefore kindly do not mark orders awaiting this service as 'overdue', thereby affecting shipping metrics.

Canada post has told Royal mail not to accept any parcels for Canada until after 23rd Dec

If they do, they will be refused and returned.

So etsy can't sell postage to Canada, until canada post accepts our mail again.

canada post kept accepting mail for 2 weeks after the strike started, and their warehouses are full

I have no idea why you didn't turn off selling to canada, if you were not going to use a different shipper

you cant buy postage to canada from royal mail click and drop online, or the post office, Canada post won't accept our parcels yet

you still can post off using a different shipper, like fedex or ups, or transglobal etc etc

Seeing OVERDUE written in red, when it's out of my hands is quite a worry. My order came in before the strike and my customer asked me to hold it for her, so 🤷‍ I'm keeping my customer happy. I just hope Etsy doesn't punish us for that.

Etsy doesn't like that, it's high risk to them
