I shipped the following day due to a buyers payment being on hold. As soon as payment was released, I shipped it which the customer was very happy with. Now it negatively affected my star seller which I think isn’t correct because I shipped as soon as the payment hold was lifted.
If there is ever going to be a delay in shipping beyond your stated time frame, you can go to the order summary and extend the shipping time to avoid getting dinged. Sorry this happened
That should not have happened because the order should not have hit your dashboard as a valid sale until the payment was cleared. If you think there is an error then I would write to Etsy because you shouldn't be dinged for that.
@SunshineHolisticShop: Have you checked the applicable CSV file from your Star Seller to confirm what order Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it? In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes.
When you received that order, what was the scheduled to ship by date on it? As others have said, that date should be based on when the order was released to you not when it was placed.
