This has been happening for the past few weeks.
"buyers expect delivery by" keep adding days not required to my delivery times
My processing time are: 2/4 days; Monday to Friday.
Just to give you an idea.
Ordered Nov 19
ship by 22/23 Nov
destination USA
Etsy: buyers expects delivery by Nov23-Dec13
My delivery time for USA are 3/7 days.
Nov 22/23 + 7 is Dec3 (excluding Saturdays)
ordered NOV 20
ship by 26/27 Nov
destination France
Etsy: Buyer expects delivery by Nov 26-Dec 11
My delivery time for France are 3/7 days
Nov 26/27 + 7 = Dec 5/6
I have just done a delivery simulation for UK & Australia from my shop.
My delivery times for UK are 2/4 days.
2 listings 2 different results!
A : order today to get by Nov 27 Dec 11
B: order today to get by Nov 28 Dec 4
Australia has the same expected delivery for both listing checked: Nov 28-Dec 9
My delivery times are 3/8, so these are right. At least today.
Nov 10 I have received an order from Australia and according to Etsy it was supposed to be delivered by Dec 5
I also checked with some other Italian shop owners and they are not experiencing the same problems. So this is just another insane glitch that hurt business before the holidays.
Today is my etsyversary. 9 years. Happy birthday to me!

The patch seems to be: create a new custom profile and manually enter all the data. I have only connected few listings for now (just in case there is another hidden problem) and delivery time now seems correct, at least on shop pages side.
The new shipping profile has stopped working properly and things start to be quite crazy.
The same shipping profile now provides completely different delivery times for different listings that are linked to it! That make absolutely no sense to me.
As mentioned my processing time are 2/4 business days Monday to Friday

It almost seems that the new profile is connected on my side of the screen but in reality some of the listings are connected with another shipping profile in the background (etsy side of the screen) maybe from early Covid times. I really don't know what to think, but there is clearly a big problem. Every time I do any kind of change, even simple like editing a sku or quantity from quick edit something happens.
Hi, I have exactly the same problem. The EDT is plus 10 days. I created new shipping profile and it worked only for a while. It is the busiest time of the year and the potential customers see completely wrong estimated delivery times.
I have contacted ETSY twice, they said it is a technical issue and the team will contact me soon. More than a week now and I am still waiting. :(((
