Shipping label "failed to purchase"

I'm trying to purchase a shipping label for an item I've sold. I'm very keen to do it via etsy as it helps if items go missing to have done it directly. I've filled out all the information about 5 times, trying different areas which might have resulted in a problem (address lines too long? etc). It makes no difference. Each time I fill out all the information, customs etc, and then it says 

You just purchased 0 labels

1 label failed to purchase

please help!

First I would try what Etsy always tells you. Restart your device, clear cache and cookies. Then if that doesn't work, try a different browser to see if that helps. Etsy glitches seem to sometimes be browser dependent. I would tell you to purchase via PirateShip but you seem to be UK based.

It used to be you could not buy labels ahead/for anything but the day it was but not sure that is still a thing?
