My tracking showed pre-transit in Etsy site for the order but USPS site showed that it have been delivered. It happened to all my order in Etsy that showed the pre transit order . 54 orders having that pre transit glitches. Please help
You are not in the USA, so your shipper is not USPS
you have to select a shipper from the dropdown window, that etsy recognises, and you have to enter the tracking number exactly, and by the ship date
so no leading or trailing spaces, and make sure 0 and O are entered correctly.
it doesn't matter if it shows pre-transit for star seller, it just has to be a valid tracking number from a shipper that Etsy recognises through aftership, and you marked complete by the ship by date
I always put it as my country post office for carrier . Not USPS . Only some are captured with tracking . Those that showed pre-transit which is delivered still showing a strike on me
@Abundance74 The item has to be in transit after you post the item within your processing time frame. It doesn't matter what happens after that for star seller.
Etsy's software Aftership has to recognize that the item was shipped within your time frame.
The fact that USPS says it has been delivered is moot.
Some have said that contacting ETsy with information that the scan shows in transit can make for a change. Did you check to see if it went to in transit outside of Etsy?
@Abundance74 - If you used your Country's postal service, when completing the order you would have checked off that service & added the tracking number assigned to the package at that time.
USPS does pick up on the postal tracking numbers of many countries, and will follow the package's route thru delivery. But initially you would have had to use your country's postal name & the tracking #.
That's what I have been doing . I always put it under my country services . It just happen that some are being captured with "live" delivery with status while some are as glitch that always appeared in Etsy as pre- transits
@Abundance74 - As BagmakerSupply mentions below, Star Seller uses on-time shipping & tracking number to update the stats.
If you are completing the orders on time & marking them off in your shop manager in a timely manner - and - your postal service is linked to Aftership who follows the tracking number you have entered, that is what should matter.
If for some reason Etsy is dinging you in Star Seller for pre-transit issues & all the information is correct, you'll need to contact Etsy about the problem.
The Star stats can take a bit of time to update but since packages have been delivered, then that's definitely long enough for stats to update.
@Abundance74: Star Seller does not care about delivered - only shipped on time with tracking.
A order still in "pre transit" usually means that the tracking information AS ENTERED cannot be validated. If the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order.
An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.
