Shipping Not Trackable on US site

One of my products was shipped from the Netherlands to Belgium. The universal tacking shows the parcel route and delivery however on Etsy it does not show tracking. Only the tacking number is seen and when I click on it the UPS site says no tracking available. Now, the shipping warehouse made a mistake, it was USPS, but still the USPS site only says the label was made and no further information. So, the carrier is listed wrong, but why the information isn't trackable is not clear and is affecting my star seller status criteria. please help.

Sounds like incorrect carrier, you have 72 hours after completing to change that. Not sure why USPS would be involved if it was shipped from The Netherlands to Belgium. USPS does not work here as it is the USA postal service. The Dutch Postal service is called PostNL. If that was used then you need to complete selecting PostNL International 3S so that tracking is visible. Also if you sell POD to EU or UK and have production in those regions you need separate listings from your USA listings as the ship from needs to be accurate for VAT purposes.

@VeraNoire   Check with your POD company.  If this is a US purchase, the US POD creates the label for the US and then they deliver to USPS.  USPS may not have scanned in the item.  Since PODS do a huge business , sometimes scans are missed. However your manufacturer may use UPS instead of USPS.

For your first question, that may be a case of Etsy not recognizing the carrier or the infornation was not received to update.   That happens from time to time.

@VeraNoire: Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the actual order. Since the shipper is listed incorrectly the tracking number cannot be validated.

You have 72 hours to update the shipper and tracking number from the time the order was marked as completed https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015774228-How-to-Add-Tracking-and-Complete-an-Order-?segm...

An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.

After you correct the shipper the stats should auto update a day or two after the first scan is publicly available.

Thank you for your help. I found that odd too, when I searched USPS it says "label created" although the shipping company specifies they use UPS. I do have a different shipping for EU and UK ( taken from the POD site) but I will make sure it specifies all of these things. Thank you so much!
