I am having the same problem. Not sure if its Etsy or Canada Post? Hopefully it will resolve itself soon.

I do not understand why Etsy hasn't addressed this issue!! It's been happening for nearly a week for some sellers. I have been unable to print labels since last Thursday and I'm ready to pull out my hair in frustration! I shipped one order using Canada Post's SnapShip on Friday and I'm sorry Etsy, but the extra cost for that has NOT been worked into my products or the shipping I charge!! I wonder how many other people, like me, are on a payment reserve and desperately trying to keep a perfect slate for the next 3 months while facing an income crisis. Is Etsy just tightening the screws, or what?! This label issue should have been fixed IMMEDIATELY, so what are they waiting for??! It's making me crazy!

I am having this same issue as well. Etsy will not allow me to purchase a label for the UK. I got this order on Friday and it really needs to get out!
I have tried purchasing directly through Canada Post site, but it is also not working.... so maybe it is a Canada post issue?? Regardless, I really wish Etsy would address this, for our peace of mind and so we can let our customers know what's going on/how long this delay will be.

I believe PirateShip (dot) com offers the same rates as Etsy, at least within the US. U can enter the tracking number separately for each sale.

I don't think you can use PirateShip if you are based in Canada...at least that's how it appeared when I checked out their website. Their shipping calculator required a valid zip code...wouldn't accept a Cdn postal code.

ChitChats is similar in that they look for the best rates, but Canada Post is still cheaper right now. You would have to be near one of their limited drop-off spots; for us it would be 45 minutes of highway driving - not worth the cost in gas!

Was experiencing this only this weekend but managed to intermittently purchase labels during the AM yesterday. I wonder if it is due to maintenance CP often do on weekends.

ETA: There is a warning message on ebay shipping that Canada Post is "experiencing issues"

Canada Post was scheduled for maintenance from yesterday up until 7 am this morning. I just spoke to a CP rep who said there are no specific issues they are aware of...it certainly didn't help much. It's possible they are still glitching. It's hard to say when both Etsy and CP aren't offering any explanation!
