Shipment under $15 CA with no tracking

I shipped a $5 order ON TIME, but for this measly amount there is NO TRACKING  , so I have no idea how to get this glitch fixed. This is not the first time I make this complaint and it is never corrected , and I lose my star seller every time it happens, they tell me it cannot be manually corrected so I pay the price of this Etsy Problem.

I have 2 shops and the same issue is happening in both, there is a glitch as the OPTION : Click  "This order doesn't have tracking" "  does not appear in either of my shops on the under $15 CA orders. 

What option am I supposed to select so I DO NOT GET PENALIZED ??

No matter what i have tried , it ends up showing as not shipped on time.

If I complete this by clicking on "Not available " it gives me a blocked tracking number tab, and when I did that last time , I had it marked late shipping ,yesterday  I did what the agent told me to do and  it backfired , we all know that it cannot be fixed manually as there is NO ONE who gives ETSY SERVICE to sellers. 

My biggest question now is why do I NOT HAVE the features in my shop for no tracking number and  as a Canadian shop I feel left behind many times,  not heard, and not considered other than to take my fees !!!

What is the real deal of the  bogus story of the under $15 CA deal ? It is not working in my 2 shops and several months ago one of my shops had funds frozen for 3 months because it was not a star seller. ( I had no negative points in the shop , no complaints, 4.5 star reviews, shipped on time etc... )

I PAY FEES like everyone else. and work hard to maintain my star seller

I get this same run around every single time and IT HAS NOT BEEN FIXED and I cannot even file a complaint with a higher management person as they dont exist.

In the end I am only good to keep paying $$$ with no services offered. Who on earth can I contact to get this resolved ??

Because it's for US sellers and relates to the Streamlined shipping for US sellers.

Are you listing in CA$ or US$? the requirements are based on your listing currency.

I ship in US $ , when my shop was set up 10 yrs ago I did not realize there was an option. So not only do I lose a % of fees as it is in US$, but it seems some features do not apply to my shop.

I tried to change it all to CA$ , but if I switch, the prices do not automatically  change to CA$ but remain the same dollar amount , which is not good as the CA$ is higher due to exchange.  With almost 200 listings , many with different prices per size etc... it is impossible to go in and manually change each  listing. It is a misery dealing with Etsy these days, nothing like it was at the begining where it seemed they cared for the seller's interests.

You have to list in Canadian dollars for this to work.  Looks like you are listing in US dollars.

@UnSempliceSi: I did not realize that you were a USD shop - in which case you are confusing two SEPARATE metrics. Yes, tracking is only required for orders of $10.00 USD or more, but for Star Seller ALL PHYSICAL ORDERS must have tracking or an Etsy Label.

@BagmakerSupply Your advice is true for Shops that sell in USD for both Streamlined Shipping and Star Seller Program BUT there are several "exceptions" to the compulsory Tracking Number requirement

Please note these are based on the Currency the Shop is set to not the Country in which the Shop is set

"Orders of a certain value will need to have tracking or a shipping label purchased on Etsy. The requirement values are based on currency. 

GBP	£10 and above
EUR	€10 and above
CAD	$15 and above
AUD	$15 and above

The order was total $5 USD, so it met the requirements whether it was US or CA , so no tracking was necessary,  but my shipping dropped from 100% to 95% for that one order. Something is not working out or I am totally clueless !

The US$ 10 tracking threshold isn't for Star seller.

It's for the streamlined US shipping for US sellers, which is why they have the no tracking box.

It's a completely different program from Star Seller and has different requirements.

as explained above.  you MUST list in Canadian dollars for the exemption to apply.  it is working how it is set up.

Etsy should supply a code to put into the tracking bar for OTHER  for all orders under the $10 USD to bypass that tracking requirement. It cheapens the purpose of " STAR SELLER " if the seller gives quality service, on time, efficiently and economically to then penalize that seller for a technicality!

You are set up to be a USA$ shop, 

For USA $, there is no exemption, they all have to be shipped with tracking, or labels bought from Etsy

Even if you mark it No Tracking, it will still affect your Star Seller rating, because Etsy only counts it for Star Seller purposes if it is tracked. Same thing happens when you Deliver it in person. Some people buy a cheap envelope Etsy offers and use it to send a thank you note so they get the tracking number. I don't use Etsy, but I think that costs under $2.00.

The cheap envelope option is not available in Canada.  The OP is in Canada.  It is only available in the US.

@BagmakerSupply The cheap "letter" option is a USPS Etsy Label for US based shops, not shops selling USD.

OP is a Canadian Shop. Therefore, even if they sell in USD, the shipping options which Etsy Labels offer do not include the cheap USPS "letter" option.
