Dropdown information is disappearing every time a product is saved or published on Web. I can't be the only one paying for broken listings right now and not being able to get help for it. I've had someone check on the other end too. A non-seller. They've said the dropdowns are not working either. I've checked multiple browsers. The primary one I am using is Chrome. All broken. It's obvious the data is somehow not linking from point A to point B after attempting to save in any way.
Etsy still seems to KNOW there are price variations because I can see a price range on the listing menu "+" symbols on the item page and dropdown buttons but the items themselves don't show anything when you click on the dropdowns. And they also can't be viewed or edited on the seller end. It has defaulted to assuming there are no variants or something.
If there are any difficulties seeing this problem for anyone else, Help Center reps keep saying they can't see anything. (Although I am suspicious they're reading what I said tbh.. because I have seen 5 reps come through and gotten no help at all.) And they have even published my broken listings for me, assuming I just forgot to publish. Ugh. So, I had broken items up for 3 hours...
I can't be the only one. How many of us have been refused help, refunds, or resets on listing expirations while the pages are just completely not working? For me, it has been 5 days, same as the number of Help Center reps that have come through and not helped.
Is something being done about this? Because I only see a notice about a similar problem in the app, which I assume means the mobile app, from a few weeks ago.
Update below is what I just sent to the Help Center after the issue, unfortunately, worsened. Might serve as a warning to others. I was afraid this would happen, which is why I had not touched it for 5 days... On the second publish/save it just deleted EVERYTHING from the variants. Including the data that wasn't displaying properly. So, to me, it seems this might be a progressive issue with every save. It DID, however, finally revert to the old editor after it had failed before.

(I'm sorry, but my shop still has to be ok whether someone helps me or not... So I hope you guys understand that.)
This time it deleted all the old data entirely and switched back to the old editor (after the second time I hit publish since my original help request... so it might be gradually losing more and more of the data with each save?). So, I'm attaching new screenshots (and the old one).
Unfortunately this also means I cannot replicate the issue or have someone go look at it again on my account. I'm turning off the renewal as well. But I have not deleted it."
Has this issue only become apparent today? My variations seem okay but I haven't edited or published any today (I've also not had any orders though).
No, I'm new to Etsy and I've been having this problem since last Friday. If you use your computer's web browser to look at my shop now too. The options are still a little glitchy when mixing and matching them.
I had to post the item multiple times, correcting missing options, before it stopped deleting variations. And copying to a draft sometimes deletes variations too.
Every time I hit save, it's a risk.
I think these people are also seeing this same issue, though it seems to be a difficult issue to describe?

It certainly is! And I will go and let them know what I have been doing to cope this week so hopefully it helps them... It really feels like you're going mad.

same this are happening with my shop . one of my etsy web link which one most trending listing from my shop but right now there is drop down menu issue . i have tired to connect etsy for 10 times in day's but till today there is not any proper solution . i don't know what should i do ?

Advice from my experience this week, based on some hunches and what ended up working out for me:
1. If you start with an item on the NEW version of listing features, don't even bother trying to fix it... Save a copy (check what data gets lost in the draft), deactivate it, try to get a refund for the listing fee, and let them know you need to make a new one to publish because it's very broken. It might be wise to mark the product image with text that says "BROKEN, DON'T POST" too, then screenshot it BEFORE hitting save as so they know which one you're talking about because there was confusion when I contacted the Help Desk and bad things happened...
2. If you start with an item on the OLD version of listing features, and it might be wise to make sure of this, you're probably going to hit publish and STILL see items disappear. But I noticed that, in my opinion, though it was still annoying and incredibly infuriating, I didn't feel the problem was AS bad here vs the previous menu. So, I tried posting about half the options first... hitting save to see what survived. Then, if I noticed it was sticking finally, I updated the rest.... and tried to hit save only once more from this point. So, be careful about making mistakes you need to save multiple times since it's a gamble. I finally got some working listings up by doing this. But you gotta plan on spending a long time fighting that glitch at the same time...
It really isn't going to get better until it's fixed on Etsy's end. I had a friend check on the customer end from the app and she said that one wasn't glitching for her. It's mostly on Web.

Drop Down box not visible on an item I just renewed
Dang =/ At least I know to continue to be careful then. I noticed a little lag in updates even though I have been able to post and copy again without issues on new listings the last few days.
Sometimes updates weren't going through on my shop homepage.
The problem hasn't returned for me. In case I can help you, maybe we can narrow down what might be different? What operating system are you using?
