Sending photos to customer

Hello

I’ve tried several times this morning to send a photo to a customer and error comes up saying contact Customer Support. I know that will take forever so asking here first

Re: Sending photos to customer

Is this through messages?
Have you tried on both the Etsy app and on a PC/laptop?

Okay maybe I will restart my computer. Weird because even my phone app won’t send them and that always works.  Thanks for your reply

Re: Sending photos to customer

I use a computer and send photos all the time ... confirming custom order stuff, etc.

Etsy message does limit the type of file that can be sent ... I'm typically sending JPEGs.

And ETSY message does limit the cumulative size / bytes that can be sent in a single message.

And I have noticed that I have to keep my eye on the messages actually loading ... usually takes a few seconds but sometimes longer. You'll see the file name appear when the photo is completely loaded in the message. Hitting send before loading is completed will result in the photo being excluded.

I use a computer.
