The drop down list in shop sections is not working for me. The buttons are inactive. Anyone else?

It happens in the shop front, not in listings. I’ve gone into other shops and clicked on sections.The drop down menu shows up but when I click on them nothing happens.

And are you trying to do this using an Etsy app or via browser (it makes a difference as to possible causes and potential solutions, otherwise we have to guess).

I’m on an iPhone in browser. It happens in any shop front, not just mine. When I click on sections the drop down options come up but clicking on them does nothing.

Sounds like maybe a change that that breaks on certain browsers (or browser versions) and / or certain operating systems. We are not seeing this problem on Windows 10 with Firefox 102 or Linux with Firefox 92 or Linux with Brave 1.30.87 (Chromium: 94.0.4606.71). How about sharing OS and browser and version that are not working.

I’m on iPhone on mobile site using Safari. Is that what you mean?

same thing is happening to me. It's not very convenient when you have 1000 listings, and I really hope my clients aren't having this problem

@YonksRox   Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Without more information it is hard to speculate, but Safari is often a little off or behind the standards, especially if you do not have the latest version. It is possible that a change was released without being thoroughly tested in all common browsers. Or perhaps a browser change broke backward compatibility.

Well I'm trying on chrome and both of the Etsy apps and nothing works. Last time it lasted most of the day until Etsy messaged me saying there was nothing wrong. LOL like c'mon Etsy there was and you know it, stop gaslighting

I just tried my Samsung internet browser instead of chrome and it's happening there too. Definitely an Etsy thing. I messaged Etsy about it 10 hours ago and no response

Same problem for me using Safari on iPhone and silk on my kindle

Same here, using android. Shop sections are visible but nothing happens when I click on them. (unlike this past Feb, when the whole shebang disappeared for many!) Etsy support are useless and I'm feeling really fed up.

In the UK they've deactivated all our listings that have anything to do with knife in the title.... Mother of Pearl butter knife, letter opener etc...as a response to a BBC news programme about how awful it is that people can buy knives online. ETSY DID THIS WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION TO THE SELLERS. Scary.

I list them in my other store as butter spreaders. That seems to work. Of course, if it’s on the BBC then it must be true 🤦‍

Do not work from my side , not working in my shop and when I try to browse in some other shop just do not work , weird

Not working here either since yesterday. I have tried through safari, chrome, Pinterest, Instagram, sell on Etsy app and sections not opening. It will only open in the Etsy App ( which I can’t stand using)

Must be an Etsy glitch (again)

ya I can't click on your sections either, which means customers are having this issue. Oh joy this is really going to impact my sales in a huge way

On the phone with Etsy support, they confirm something is wrong, they can't get the shop sections to work either. They are trying to troubleshoot

@PurityGems thanks for checking on this issue ..support really don't know much, do they? sigh.

I noticed shop names and icons are now moved over to the left.. Maybe something to do with that? I really wish etsy would quit messing around with our shop fronts.
