Scam from etsy assistant?

Hello everyone, 

I got this message today from Etsy Assistant. When I received the "form" it asked me to provide my credit card to get paid. This seems like a scam. Can you confirm?

This is not an Etsy Assistant, it is some scammer impersonating one. Send the original message to SPAM and do NOT reply. They will try to get you to input your bank and CC info into a fake Etsy page--and these pages look real so please do NOT fall for this.

OP...Etsy won't do this. If you didn't get the message from the confirmed Etsy account (look at your dashboard as there is a 'from Etsy' area now), it is a scam. You'll NEVER be asked to provide your credit information, email or other identification information. Etsy already has it.

So therefore they would never write “valued seller.”

Reminds me of a text (several actually) I received from "USPS" telling me that they had attempted delivery to click here to reschedule. 

Sounds legit.

Until you get to the bottom of the text where it says:

"We here at USPS wish you a happy day!"

Pffft. I can't even get a counter person to say hi much less wish someone a happy day.

Sometimes the scam just smacks ya in the face!
