I got another scam message saying it was from Etsy Support.
"Sales in your store are temporarily suspended to complete verification.
And the weird thing is that is no simple way to report this to Etsy.
Pull your finger out Etsy.
Marking it as Spam does the same thing.
Etsy just doesn't want to be inundated by spam report emails.
They just aren't doing enough, in the right ways to control this mess.
Yes, mark it as spam. THAT is the report.
As above. "Mark as spam" = "report to Etsy." Messages between account holders are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
This message, and other spam messages, are becoming more and more frequent, just received one again a few moments ago. I report them as spam, but is there any evidence Etsy have done anything about them - no!!
@EnfinLodgeVintage I've seen evidence when other new Sellers post that they attempted to respond to these spam messages and were unable to, because there was a banner "This is no longer a valid user". That means Etsy has already removed the account, most likely due to multiple people marking it as spam.
And yes, I realize more new spam accounts will generate, but you've done your part.
People should still mark these as spam through the messages list (on desktop) by checking the little box and marking as spam.
