My sales number increased by 1 sales yesterday, but a sale has not shown up on my sold orders page and an item is not showing as being sold.
There is nothing in my payment account page
Anyone else seeing this as well in their shop? Thanks!
Check your email.
Thanks, I checked my emails & junk, but I did not have new orders yesterday
Try refreshing your dashboard. Go from today to yesterday and back. Then look at yesterday again. Sometimes it jumbles up my data but when i actively sort it, it all gets straightened out. I have seen this before also.
Thanks, I tried refreshing yesterday and going between the two, but nothing changed
Do you mean your shop total increased by one OR your 30 day stats increase by one with no additional sale? With that last scenario it could just be how the sales stats were presented. Possibly an order made then canceled for bad card etc??
My shop total increased by one
My sales numbers have not been updated either. I tried to log out, and refresh my data for the month and it still has not been updated. I've had at least 3 sales in the past 2 days and it is not reflecting in the sales tally under my shop name.
Has the monies from these sales showed up in your payment account ?? if not, the sales have not been finalized or in the process of being final or canceled. Some may take up to 72hrs to finalized or be canceled may just have to wait and see.
Yes, it's been a few days and my counter is still off. I'm going to wait till after the Memorial Day holiday and see if it catches itself up
My shop, same thing. Not showing on the shop page.
I have had 3 sales over the past 4 days and my counter number did not increase.
"Ghost Sales..next on the History channel..."
I got in touch with etsy as I was curious. I was told that my sales didn't get added in to the total because they were sales from guests. And guests don't have etsy accounts.
@fineartstoneware Did they tell you how that gets added to our sales monies in Payment accounts, if not added to our sales total. Where are they added then in account. Great accounting hide and seek.
Crafty,
Good thought. I checked and all is ok, everything is added in. Easy to check on as I've had few sales lately.
Well I refunded a guest, for a package that has been bouncing around for two months, and it lowered my sales#, don’t think they know much.??
Let me guess...was it a live chat support person or request a call back phone support person? If so umm well they have been known to give completely false info as they are just a call center and most have no clue how etsy really works. Guest orders do add to the sales # count. Unless they made a change within the past 18-24 hours. More than half the orders I receive are from guest checkout and my sales number certainly increases with each order. All but 1 of my last 10 orders have been guest checkout and the number has changed with each. I'd venture to say that the support person was wrong.
It was a live chat. I have had guest sales before , with all adding to my sales total so I see what you mean. ?
i see they are hiring only the finest brains to handle support, guest purchases still count tonumber of sales, what a BS response, and our fees increased for just this type of thing.
