I sell digital products in my shop, when trying to run a sale of 20%, 2% gets applied to the actual price on the shop page. (a product is 15.79€, discounted 20% = displayed 15.48€). Once the item is in the cart, it show the actual discounted price.
It has been going on for weeks, anyone experience the same thing? How do you go around it?
I see the correct 20% off in your main page.
really? wow that's an interesting revelation
It's a display issue relating to VAT.
When you put digital items on sale, etsy shows the Sale Price (VAT included) with VAT added. Making it a higher priced than the crossed out original.
It only happens on shop page and search and not individual listings or cart.
It's a years long display issue, that etsy either can't work out how to fix, or won't fix.
There's nothing you can do.
