I noticed that when you are setting up a sale in Etsy and you move past the first page to then select listings...if you use the "back" button (at the bottom, not browser) to go back to the sale info page, it was CHANGING my sale offering percentage to 25%. It was originally set at 15% off. I have screenshots.
I checked this twice and it happened both times. So if you are setting up a sale and use the back button at the bottom of the window, check your percentage! 2 sales came through before I noticed this on my current sale. From Desktop
yup, can confirm I'm seeing this too when testing.
@NickelDesignsShop: We noticed this behavior when they changed to the new layout where 25% is the minimum sale percentage unless you select custom. Clearly Etsy feels that anything under 25% is not worth it.
Yes, this happened when they changed the layout for setting up sales. I'd like to think it was poor programming, but knowing Etsy it was probably an on purpose. In either case they don't seem to be bending over backwards to fix it.
They've made it the default. I think it is too much. I don't like it when they trap people like that.
