SEARCHING FOR SHOP

We suddenly cannot search to a shop name.  The option to search all shops containing those words in their name is no longer coming up for us.  We're trying to order supplies and cannot locate what we need at all, and we've tried this with 3 difference browsers.

Is anyone else having this problem?  Has Etsy suddenly cut out this VERY important search function!?

I just put my shop user name in the etsy search box and at the top of the results was a link to my shop, with etsy asking "Did you mean the shop  AutumnHollowStudio?"

What are you typing in the search box?

I'm typing her shop name, as usual.  And that option to search to shop name is not coming up at all.  And unfortunately, the items shown are not from her shop, they are from other supply shops, page after page.  And since Etsy doesn't allow us to search shop names from our purchases this is going to be a pain!  From other comments above, I'm hoping this is just a test (a brief one).

I tried to find a friend's shop this morning and noticed the same thing. I'm used to the drop down saying find shop containing xyz but that didn't come up this morning. A repeat customer of mine tried to find me the other day by typing in my shop name. Lots of others came up! Thanks a lot Etsy! but there were a few of my listings so she was able to follow to my store front. As bad as search is it really sucks that people who are trying to find specific shops are still thwarted and misdirected.

I just did a test search for a shop I've purchased from with the word soapy in the shop name. I typed "soapy" in the search box and at the bottom of the drop down list of suggestions it says "find shop names containing soapy." When I selected that it brought up a page of shops with the word soapy in their name.

Edited: I'm on a laptop. I know the option is on the app because I use it all the time.

I found that this function works a little differently than it used to.  If I type kkbraceletsandmore into the search bar, it still shows

find shop names containing "kkbraceletsandmore"

under the search bar, but it no longer works to click on that. 

Instead use the down arrow key, which puts find shop names containing "kkbraceletsandmore" into the search bar, then press enter.

Edited to add:  I think if you've used the shop name as a tag on your listings this won't work.

@thependantemporium  You're right, this is another test which comes and goes. Just now, I searched for my Shop, and I get the drop down Menu, "Find Shops containing...".  But other days when I do the same Shop Search, I don't get this option from the Search Bar drop down menu.

I haven’t been able to find a single shop using search for awhile. And I would very much like to.

I seem to always still have the 'search by shop' option in the app. If I can't remember a shop name, at this point I'll put in what I remember in the app to find the shop's name, then bring it up on my computer.

Thanks for the links, at least we're not the only ones.  If this is a test, it is really a DUMB one!  But all's well that ends well.  We found their website and we'll order from there.  Too bad for Etsy.

No option to search for shop names any more. Upon entering a shop name in search, the option to click on 'Find Shops containing...' has been removed completely. Last week, it was removed from the app, but was still available on my pc. Today, NOT available anywhere. Even worse, if you type in the name of the shop you want to find, followed by the word 'shop', the search will bring up lots of other shops, while the one you wanted will be way down the page. This is the last straw for me. As a successful shop, Etsy is doing everything it can to send my customers elsewhere. Not the support I expect, deserve, or need.
