Royal Mail tracking

Since Royal Mail starting providing tracked 24 and 48 for the same price as first and second I’ve been buying labels through click and drop and dispatching them through there too, which has all worked fine. Just got an email from a customer to let me know that they weren’t able to track through the Etsy buyer app and subsequently their parcel is being returned to me as RM didn’t put a card through their door. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this (I don’t have the buyer app personally). They say they click on the click to track and nothing happens.

Hello!

I send through click and drop using tracked 48 hours and 24 hours.

I buy the postage through click and drop, which allows me to add the customer's email for updates, and then enter the tracking number manually on the etsy despatch note.

It is still possible to track on Etsy, just by clicking the tracking number on their order receipt.

Is it possible that an o was entered as a 0 by mistake?

Ive checked the order details and the tracking number is on there and it is correct as I clicked on it to track the order myself. I just dispatched the orders on click and drop as there were too many in December to Input them myself and they all went through fine. I was just wondering if this is a common error with the buyer app as I don’t use it myself.
