Hello Etsy Community,
My name is Skaiste, and I am the owner of the shop MeBohoCo. I have been selling personalized items on Etsy for over 11 years and have always valued being part of this community.
Recently, my shop was suspended, and I truly believe this decision was made in error. In the past, I had a couple of listings flagged under Etsy’s Creativity Standards. Once I was notified, I took immediate action to adjust those listings, and later I completely stopped offering them to ensure I stayed in full compliance with Etsy’s policies. I have always tried to act quickly and responsibly whenever an issue was raised.
This shop is a big part of my livelihood, and I am fully committed to complying with Etsy’s rules and standards in every way. I’ve already submitted appeal letters with supporting attachments, but I feel my case deserves another careful review given my long track record as a seller and the actions I’ve taken to correct any mistakes.
I kindly ask for guidance and support from Etsy to help reinstate my shop so I can continue serving customers and contributing to the marketplace.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and for any support or advice you can provide.
Sincerely,
Skaiste
You're reselling Labubu merchandise in your shop. Doesn't matter if you personalized them.
You're also not listing the Stanley items the correct way, but instead they read as if they are authorized Stanley products.
You claimed the non-personalized Labubu and Stanley things were designed by you? In what way?
Did you receive infringement notifications?
It's pretty easy to figure out what the problem was with your shop ... IP Infringement (LaBubu)!
Looking at your reviews alone, you were committing 2 different acts of IP infringement per listing. Labubu, which you cannot use their name, and various team names and logos. Teams names, nicknames, mascots, and logos all need to be licensed to use.
It is not surprising you were cited for Creativity Standards.
Just looking at your shop banner I am left wondering what input you have into these items at all. You say personalised products, but I see nothing in the banner that appears to be personalised except for one item that has an initial on it (requesting an item from your supplier with a specific initial is not really personalising the product, many people have the same initial and there is no input from you) and several items dressed in team colours (again just ordering a specific team item is not personalisation). Add to that the fact that virtually everything I see is blatant IP infringement, I am not sure why you are confused about the closure.
I think you need to get professional legal advice otherwise your website could face the same issues as your Etsy shop.
