Hi everyone, Just a heads up. Curious if anyone else has had this problem.
On a regular basis, when renewing my expired items the "relist" does not take, and they still show in my expired listings. Same thing has happened for items I have deleted. I have never really paid any attention to it and just tried relisting them again. (Say I select 40 items to relist, sometimes only 35 of them are relisted and the other 5 still show up in the expired).
TODAY I discovered that when this happens I am being charged twice. Once for the first time, even though it didn't work and then again when I relist it again. Charges both come up with the same Etsy listing number and are only showing once in my store. Today only, i was over charged for 16 items.
I have a message into the ETSY help desk, but WOW. This has been an ongoing issue for me for 3 years. How much have I been over-charged??
You might want to check your account if this has ever happened to you.
@Antiqueswithmore: There are a number of recent threads in this forum about your issue including https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Not-able-to-renew-listings/m-p/143148971#M795043
Same thing here. It appears to be an Etsy issue with everything taking a long time to update. Etsy is telling sellers it is not on their end, but it most certainly is. So don't retry or else you get charged multiple times (like me). Wait awhile and check again to see if it is listed.
Etsy needs to issue refunds for duplicate charges. This is not the first time. I am starting to think it is also not a technical error.
yes just happened to me earlier today and it appears for now i was only double charged for one listing...
