I tried to use the related tags feature on Etsy Ads and found several problems that need to be addressed.
First the lists that we are suppose to select from is not in alphabet order and it takes a long time to find any tag names that relate. Also there is no way to tell if there is an end to the recommended lists.
Second, the tags given say they are from similar items to what I'm selling. Whoever or what is making up these lists by selecting similar items is way off base. For example, I sell handmade stone slabs and cabs, just one page of their recommended tags lists is: laser cut, wood, handmade, flip flop, wood shapes and wood cut outs, 1 out of 6 is related. I think someone needs to hire real people and stop using AI routines that doesn't relate to similar. I also think that maybe their routines to select similar maybe used in the Etsy search routines, and if they do that is probably why I'm not selling, the results from that is Etsy is making less money because I'm making less money.
