I refunded a customer for their purchase, but my Etsy shop is still showing item not shipped. I communicated clearly with the customer that I refunded them.
Because you just refunded and did not cancel the order too
Go back to the order and cancel it.
Next time, start by cancelling, which will also refund. This way, you do both steps at the same time.
