Quick Edit issue, Possible Fix

So a lot of us (but not all of us) have been having this issue, with the Quick Edit feature not working. I think I've found a possible fix for it, or rather the reason for the error

So a few months ago Etsy decided they weren't happy with people using the "Other" option in shipping profiles, which we use on ALL of our listings. The reason I do so is that If you pick "Royal Mail (2-3 business days)", they that's what your delivery time is set to, 2-3 days. However, my orders were ALWAYS late because Royal Mail are useless. By selecting "Other" I could then put in my own timeframe which is much more accurate.

So initially Etsy said you need to change these shipping profiles to get rid of the "Other" selection, but that went away, and we were able to continue using them as normal. However, if you go to create a new shipping profile, "Other" isn't even an option any more. I created a new shipping profile, added a listing to it and presto, quick edit works again, but only on that listing. So it looks like it won't let you quick edit, because technically the shipping profile is invalid, which is utter nonsense of course.

So those of you that are having this problem, have a look at your shipping profiles and see if you have "Other" still listed as shipping method. Let me know how you get on.

Etsy removed Other and told all to change their information.  Some sellers have not done so.

Since I am in the US and have only one profile, Quick Edit gives me only two options of my profile and no profile.

If sellers did not go in and correct then yes the quick edit won't work because Etsy removed Other which impacted across the board.

They said to change it and originally displayed error messages, then a week or so later, the error messages disappeared without anything being changed.

For my shipping profiles, Other is still listed as an option. It's only when I go to create a new one, that it's not an option.

As previously mentioned, the Other option is the most appropriate due to the actual length of time orders are taking to be delivered, it should have never been removed in the first place.

If we change it to what they want, we'll have customers filing complaints left, right and centre. It'll cost Etsy a fortune in Buyer Protection.
