Quantity option not showing up on my listings

Picking a quantity on my listings that offer more than one item at the same price isn't showing up and it's confusing for the customer. One customer insisted that I send her all three items for the price of one because that was the way it was listed. I have listed items with more than one quantity before and it showed up correctly. What am I doing wrong now?? I have lots of listings like this – help!

Is the item price $20 or higher? If so, it's unfortunately intentional. Etsy won't show a quantity drop down menu for items $20 USD and higher until you get it in the cart and then you can change the quantity.

If it's less, I've noticed this issue sometimes on the app or maybe it was the mobile website. I'm sorry I can't remember now, and I also have no idea why it's sometimes happening.

I've noticed this on all items, even under $20 when viewing via my tablet (so might be mobile site). Its been this way for over a year now. What does work is to add the item to cart/basket and then you can change the quantity in the cart.

If you mention in your listing that there are '3 available' then this may cause confusion unless you also state that the price is for one item.

ETA: I just checked your listings and yes, they could be confusing. I would not say how many are available in the title because it sounds like you get all of them. You can put this in the description - e.g. Choose from 3 designs

I would also advise you reconsider using words like 'terrific, darling, wonderful' in your titles because these words are subjective and won't help your items get found in search results. Again, keep that for the description.

I have a background in retail advertising – I can't help it –ha! Anyhow, thank you. I need to change several of my listings.

I usually say in my title "Choose From (number of items) and yet this person could not pick her quantity and that's what was confusing. Why does Etsy make this so hard??
