Products disappeared

Wondering if anyone else notice this.  When I'm not logged in and I look at my shop, about half of my items are missing.  And BTW, non eof the required labels necessary to post this really apply.

Are your items properly labeled as mature (your thumbnails do not meet the requirement for this, FYI)? If you are not logged in, you are likely not seeing any of those mature items.

You may also find this reference useful on how to list "mature products". This information (via the link below) may provide some insight in to what may have happened. Profanity is considered mature content on Etsy.

I've never even thought about labeling them mature.  I've never gotten any feedback from Etsy.  And it seems that the issue resolved itself.

Yes, please read the link that was shared about properly labeling and censoring mature items.

I, like nineteen27, also like the f word, so they don't bother me, but many people in here do not feel the same way.

Etsy is likely not going to notice them unless someone reports them as not being properly labeled/censored. Because you have brought attention to your shop by posting in here, I would anticipate your items have now been reported by those in here that do not like the word, so you may soon be hearing from Etsy about them.

Just to be clear, you can list and sell them here, you just need to censor the thumbnail image so it is suitable for all ages and add a tag that says 'mature'. It will be better to do this now, rather than wait for Etsy to deactivate them and have to wait for approval to relist, because then along with the time they are down, you will have a mark against your shop for not following the rules.

I would agree that it may be offensive to some. Maybe in the future you may want to provide a note or disclaimer in the post to give community members a heads up as a courtesy for anyone that may engage with the post.

All items must be suitable for general audiences, from your 3 year old just learning to read to your 88 year old Baptist grandma.

So, censor bars over swear words in the first photo, and not just slapping an offensive swear word in the title and tags.

Just a note:

Etsy will let you list almost anything because they want your money.  They have the right to pull ANY listings that violate their policies when reported, and you don't get those listing fees back.  It's up to the shop owner to read the rules and abide by them.
