Problem with the Ship by/Buyer expects delivery by dates

It looks like Etsy has a bug with the Ship by/Buyer expects delivery by dates that they give to the buyers. 

My Processing time is set to 4-8 days, while my Shipping is set for 1-5 days. and here are some of the dates that the buyers are getting ( As if the shipping range is going backward)

1. Ship by Jun 28, 2024/  Buyer expects delivery by: Jun 21-28

2.  Ship by Jun 28, 2024/  Buyer expects delivery by: Jun 22-29

3.  Ship by Jun 24, 2024/  Buyer expects delivery by: Jun 18-26

etsy selects the dates given by the carriers estimates at the time

if you have canada post set as the shipper, in your shipping profile, they use their current times, depending on the class you choose, if you select ups as the carrier, they use their times.

canada post

- regular parcel to canada, is 1-10 days

priority, is 1-2 days

chit chats select , is 2-8 days

chit chats canada tracked, is 2-10 days

.... if you think they are too optimistic, choose one you think fits best - the customer doesn't see the shipper
