Problem with Price Change

I just went through a few of my listings to change the price for clearance.   When I was finished, I went back into my shop and clicked on the clearance section.  It showed the items I changed the price on but it was still showing the old price!  So, I clicked on the item and when it opened up it shows the new price!!  How can there be two prices for one item????  Now it is all screwed up!  Help!

Using my desktop, I can see your sale with both old and new prices.

That's been an issue for a while, especially if you used Quick Edit to change the prices. If you go to the Listings page, click on the listing, and publish it again, that should fix it. Don't copy or create a new listing, just republish the existing listing on which you changed the price. Otherwise, it may eventually correct on it's own, but I'm not sure of that.

i have mentioned this a few times... it is annoying and time consuming to fix.

go into edit mode and then re-arrange items.

you need to move your items that you put on sale to another page...and the price will update.

or it can take a few days to update on their own.

you "just" have to open and close the listing.  still should be unnecessary but there is no need to rearrange your items.

i tried that but i think other people are just changing prices.

i am having a sale...but the sale prices were not appearing and no amount of publishing and re-publishing helped.

it stayed that way for days until i found a work-around.

etsy is having some technical issues with prices at the moment.

@nineteen27: There have been a number of reports about issues with sales ... the one workaround seems to be to <edit> and <save> the sale itself, even without making any changes.

that does not work either... which is why the work-around i mentioned is the only way it works for me.

@nineteen27: Thank you. It is good to know that there is a second workaround. The few times we have had an issue with a sale recently the edit and save method worked for us.

Didn't realize this.  I had to adjust a few prices using Quick Edit on several listings a few days ago and see they are wrong.  I went in now to republish them and they are now showing correctly.  Thank you!

If I was a buyer, it would peeve to me see one price on search/home page and then click on the listing and see another.

I hope someone from Etsy sees this and looks into fixing it.   I'm still fixing them because it seems really slooooooooow now and I changed quite a few.  So much for Quick Editing!  Anyone that is changing prices should really look if the first one took before you go through a bunch like I did.  I wouldn't feel confident to use the quick edit until I check that it works!

this has been an issue for months and months.  been reported many times.  etsy obviously has no intention of fixing this.  we always have to figure out a workaround for all the glitches.

There's no end to the creativity of our sellers to do these work arounds for the problems Etsy has!!

We have a similar issue too: We use the free shipping option & set or Domestic price then everywhere else price this has been working for a good 12 months with no issues, however the last 10 days the everywhere else price keeps changing to the domestic price, contact esty customer service twice but they don't seem to be able to answer why or offer any help?
