Problem with Messages

Hello, I’m just curious if anyone else is having issues with opening any messages?

If you receive an email from Etsy saying you have a message but it then doesn't exist in your messages inbox, that's because Etsy has detected spam/scam and therefore deleted the message.

I see you are not a new seller (I should have checked first) - you will need to give us more details if my explanation above does not answer your question.

Check your spam folder. Etsy may have moved it there.

Not with opening messages, but we noticed that a message that we got 4 days ago suddenly showed up as a new message 1 hour ago and a clearly not spam message was in our spam folder.

Same. I just had a message from 4 days ago get updated as "3 hours ago" but there is no actual updated message, nor anything in spam

Yesterday a message came in that said it was sent 5 hours ago, but I'd checked my shop only an hour before that and it was not there. And I never got an email - this is the first time I have not got one for a message. Now the customer, who was all set to send me an image that she wants to use for a custom order, has not got back to me at all. Something weird seems to be going on.

I've had a couple of messages - one from 2024 and one a few weeks ago, I think, that for some reason have risen to the top with a very recent date that it had been sent.   Weird.
