Prices of items doubling at checkout

I had a customer reach out to me yesterday saying that when she goes to put an item in her cart, the price of the item is doubled.  I sell vintage, so it's happening for just one item, as there are no multiples.  It has happened to her with other sellers as well.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Interesting!  Even when you go to check out?

The woman claimed that it was happening in other shops as well.  I wonder what she is talking about!?

Yes, I added 1 item and went to check out - price did not double. then I added a different item - same results.

I also tried and it did not double the price at check out. I don't understand how that could be happening because everything I looked at in your shop only has a quantity of one. So if that is really happening it would be a serious major glitch in the system.

Agreed.  I have another shop and went there and went to check out items and no doubling occurred.  Not sure what this lady is talking about.  Thanks y'all for checking!
