Hello, everytime I set a price to sell something above 1000€ it gets set for 1€. How do I solve this issue? thanks in advance
Don't add a space after 1 and it should be ok. Enter 1000.00 and not 1 000.00
Thanks for your reply, I'm not adding any space although I tried again just now after your suggestion and I noticed the site automatically adds that space between the 1 and the 0 and even if I delete that space the site adds it again.
That's weird, I've just made a test on one of my listings and it worked fine. I entered 1000.00 and it came up ok. When I entered 1 000.00, it showed as 1$
After this last answer I first thought it could be a browser related problem but got the same problem in all browsers I tested.. Then I thought it could be a currency related problem as it seemed like you were using $ and I was using € but the problem persists so now I'm still clueless but I appreciate your help very much.
Yes, it could be currency or language related. Some country or languages use spaces or comas and others don't. Etsy probably adapts the settings depending on your country and/or the language you chose for your shop.
do you have any tools running on your computer that might be auto correcting?
No, but I found out something meanwhile. I was using domestic and foreign prices and in this case, deleting the space as you suggested doesn't work, however if I only set one price for domestic and foreign sales then Karina trick works although the first time I post it still shows 1€, after I edit the price gets fixed. So for now my best option (although not ideal) is just to have the same price for everyone.
I would like to find a proper fix for the issue but seems like contacting Etsy support its not something tangible ..anyway I'm new around here maybe there is a simple way to get to the support and i just haven't found it yet. Thanks everyone for the help!
