When marking items off as sent (I use Australia Post as I currently only sell within Australia) the app sometimes changes the carrier from Australia Post to FEDEX...!! This has happened multiple times (I noticed it happening more often when using the app on the phone) and only becomes visible once the tracking number has been added and lodged. You are able to change this info only once, and only if noticed before the parcel is subsequently logged at the post office. If it is overlooked, the tracking doesn't work and the order registers as being sent without tracking, affecting your star seller numbers.... this is very annoying and damaging indeed if not noticed! Is this happening to others as well? ... Any suggestions or ways to fix it when this happens that I haven't been aware of? ...Thank you! xo
This has happened to me a couple of times and I have read posts where it has also happened to other Australian sellers. There doesn't seem to be any fix for this other than to check carefully after you have entered the tracking number and change it back if it has changed.
@SilverSari: This has been reported in this forum for quite some time and apparently with no resolution.
Long before Star Seller was even a twinkle in some executive's eye, we got into the habit of spending a few minutes every day to make sure that all of the previous day's shipments showed at least "in transit" so we could catch and fix any issues while there was still time.
This has been posted in the forums many times and appears to be an intermittent glitch which has never been fixed. It has never happened to me, but as it appears to be specific to AU sellers I have followed the conversations. It appears that the best advice is to check that it is correct before you hit the Save button, and then check again on the order page after saving, just to be sure.
It happens to some AU sellers, and some Germany sellers have also reported it happening.
You can change it more than once, but you can only change it for up to 3 days
It was happening to EU sellers for a while it certainly happened to me and several others in France. I also got into the habit of double checking after entering the tracking number.
@SilverSari - A shop owner in Germany posted this work around:
Go to the order you need to complete.
Choose the incorrect shipper.
Enter all the other info. necessary such as tracking #, etc.
Before clicking on "complete" change back to the correct Shipper.
However, it's not a guaranteed work around & they would still go back the next day to be sure that the correct shipper was shown.
