I keep getting supposed purchase enquiries that look like the purchaser is having trouble buying my items, and are being asked for my email address. Can anyone confirm whether it is an purchasing issue or if it is a scam?
This is the beginning of sucking you into a scam. Next would be a fake Etsy email where they want you to click a link and give your financial details. Etsy does NOT ask for or do this. They already have your email, bank account and CC numbers.
