He got a new phone number recently and now could not sign into his account. I guess in this situation, we need to contact with Etsy.

We are only other sellers, not etsy.
When they set up 2FA, they would have had 10 codes given to them for instances like this.
They need to use one of those codes, to be able to get in, and change the phone number

Today I saw a community post, regarding this problem, too, and someone from Etsy replied. So I decided to give it a go.
Unfortunately, he does not seem to have those codes saved somewhere, neither...
