Pictures to customers in Convos

I send pictures/proofs to customers before I print their orders.  This week 3 people have said the pictures are cut off and they can't view them.  Has anyone else had this issue?  Most customers are understanding and I simply email them their proof.  I had my first nasty customer today, they are blaming me and want to cancel their order.  Emailing them their proof wasn't a solution for them. I was shocked.

This is a glitch that has been happening since Etsy updated their message system last year.  It started around the same time as the issues with the changes to the private custom listings. 

Photos attached to messages change from upright images to sideways, upside down or worse.

It happens to identically sized images, often within the same message.

There is no work around to this issue.  Changing orientation, file size and image shape does not fix this problem.

It is one of those things only Etsy IT can fix.  However, since it has been happening for months now, this appears not to be a priority for Etsy.
