Photo positions keep jumping around?

Hi everyone,

This is driving me a bit crackers – is anyone else having problems with their primary listing photos being randomly changed? Sometimes I’ll find two photos tagged as the primary, and I can’t fix it without deleting and re-uploading one of them. 

It’s really messing up my shop, especially when it happens to my bestselling listings. The worst example is when my infographic (usually in spot 10!) gets moved to the primary photo. Every time I update something, I seem to now notice random listings with the wrong lead photo. I'm also having issues with what is being shown in the primary slot in my shop backend when you view "all listings", is not reflected by what is being shown on the shop front or when you click into that listing backend.

I’ve tried:

• Manually changing the primary photo (doesn’t always stick).
• Deleting and re-uploading images.
• Checking for settings that might cause this- I didn’t find anything.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Is it a result of some new testing? How can I stop it from happening? It’s honestly such a headache, and I don’t want my shop to look unprofessional.

Are you using the app or a browser?

Lots of people have reported a wide range of issues trying to do things like this in the app, so you're better off using a browser to add / edit listings.

I use the browser for adding or editing listings. I occaisionally use Vela for bulk editing, but this issue came up during a period where I've not been using that (generally only use it a couple of times a year, to bulk edit listings)

This is horrible! I had this problem a few months ago and now again today. All of my photos were perfectly centered and then I just refreshed my page after adding more items and random photos are now out of place. I contacted Etsy and they seem to think it is a "me" problem, but it is not. It does look so unprofessional and I have deleted all photos and put them back and still no luck. If anyone has a solution, please comment! I am using a laptop as I have for 12 years. Nothing on my end has changed.
