I have made an error entering my company name onto the full owner name section. For more than 2 months, my shop was put on holiday mode and fund have been hold, caused me to lose 2 months worth of revenue. However, the field is un-editable whilst it is stuck in pending verification status. I have asked for technical help to make it editable so that the verification can be progressed.
I have made 100s of calls to the Etsy support team and received few emails from Trust & Email team advising to edit the incorrect field entry by going into the Legal & Tax Information and click edit field. Clearly, the field is not editable.
Support team only has one way of escalating to one of the 3 teams "Higher Department/ Specialist Team/Supervisor", never received a call from any those team/supervsor. Or the support team says, you have received an email from Trust & Safety team, please respond to that email. However, Trust and Safety team sends the exact same templated email to edit the incorrect entry despite knowing the field is un-editable. They never responds back to your reply back.
It is very frustrating and hitting hard on a small business, losing all income during the festive season which is the main season which produces 70-80% of my annual revenue. Everything is lost. The funds from prior period have been on hold.
I have read other people's post on similar issue but do not see any resolution posted on community hub. Appreciate if anyone points me to how to get to the team who can make the field editable so that I can correct the error.

I am having a similar problem. I will post my own complaint. I was asked to upload a business verification form back in late October, which I did. My new shop was placed in Vacation Mode. My document showed "pending verification" with a message at the uploaded file saying it should take 2-5 days. It is still in that status almost two months later and I have filed so many support requests- at this point asking to just close my shop. I get a token email- then I reply to the email, and I hear nothing. I started filing requests to close my shop- because when I try to close it, it shows that I need to contact Etsy- which is impossible.

After 2 months of daily support calls & emails and requesting an escalation, I finally received a call back yesterday from a supervisor, called Katie ONLY to say "They'd review the conversation and then respond back via email".
When I asked " Are you calling back to me after a numerous escalation, just to say that you will review and respond by email? Have you not review already and give me a resolution" the supervisor only repeat what she said "We will review and respond by email". When I asked what is the team that will be reviewing and responding back, she said it is an "Etsy Team" .
No hope in their support procedure!
I STILL VERY LIKE TO GET IT RESOLVED AND MY SHOP REOPENED AS I ALREADY HAVE LOTS OF EXISTING CUSTOMERS AND TRACK RECORDS.
