Paypal not available

Wie einige wissen, ist PayPal in einigen Shops, nicht verfügbar, und ich finde es wirklich frustrierend. Ich habe bereits dreimal den Etsy-Support kontaktiert, aber immer nur die gleichen standardisierten Antworten wie „Sie arbeiten daran“ bekommen.

Mich würde interessieren, wie viele von euch mit diesem Problem zu tun haben und wie lange das noch dauern könnte. Hat jemand von euch mehr Infos bekommen oder eine genauere Antwort? Ich frage mich, ob das ein größeres Problem ist oder nur einige von uns betrifft.

Außerdem, wie viele von euch bezahlen regelmäßig mit PayPal? Ich frage mich, ob ich mir unnötig Sorgen mache oder ob das ein verbreitetes Problem ist.

Würde mich über eure Erfahrungen oder Gedanken dazu freuen!

Som of you know that PayPal isn’t available in some shops and I’m finding it really frustrating. I’ve already contacted Etsy support three times, but all I’ve gotten are the same generic responses, like “They’re working on it.”

I’m curious to know how many others are dealing with this issue and how long it might last. Has anyone found any more information or gotten a clearer response? I’m wondering if this is a bigger problem or just something affecting a few of us.

Also, for those who use PayPal, how many of you actually pay with it regularly? I’m starting to wonder if I’m just overthinking this or if it’s a more widespread issue.

Would love to hear other experiences or thoughts on this!

Hey I´m here since more than the 180 Days, have more than 100 sells, etsy-star etc.... Why is f.... etsy blocking PayPal?? Thats discusting!

Paypal hasn't been available for most new Germany, and other EU shops for nearly a year

I would think that paypal and etsy can't get an agreement between them, on how they will work

It's more likely to be a commercial impasse , than just a block on you

but as very few people pay by paypal anyway, I wouldn't worry about it.

I wouldn't be surprised, if it eventually goes for all of us.

.... you could try asking paypal why, but I doubt either paypal or etsy will disclose the commercial agreements/issues

Mein Shop besteht mittlerweile ebenfalls seit über 180 Tagen und Paypal funktioniert trotzdem nicht. Es ist super frustrierend. Derzeit liegen meine Artikel in 29 Warenkörben und wenn auch nur 30% der Interessenten deshalb nicht gekauft hat, weil Paypal nicht vorhanden ist, ist das trotzdem zu viel Umsatz, der mir deswegen verloren geht.

Es nervt mich echt, ich verkaufe nur nach Deutschland und Paypal ist hier eben die beliebteste Zahlungsmethode.

you are losing because you are restricting sales to the biggest raft of customers

Selling here, you should at least include USA and UK

Etsy is phasing paypal out, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes from all shops eventually

funktioniert es mittlweile bei dir? Ich bin ganz neu als Verkäuferin dabei und befürchte auch das viele Kunden nicht kaufen weil kein Paypal vorhanden ist. Nicht jeder möchte mit Klarna zahlen und es hat auch nicht jeder eine Kreditkarte... 

Es ist super nervig!

bin ganz neu als Verkäuferin unterwegs.. Bei mir funktioniert Paypal auch nicht und ich versuche es seit Tagen irgendwie einzurichten.. Funktioniert es denn bei dir mittlerweile? Ich glaube das einige Kunden nicht kaufen weil kein Paypal verfügbar ist. Nicht jeder möchte über Klarna bezahlen. Und Kreditkarte hat auch nicht jeder.... 

Würde mich über eine Antwort freuen.

There has been no paypal for new germany shops (and most new EU shops) for over a year and a half, I doubt you will ever have it.

Luckily, hardly anyone pays by paypal on etsy.

most people have debit cards, or apple pay, or credit cards etc

Hi ich habe dasselbe Problem und dieses besteht nun fast schon 1 Jahr!!! Ich finde es wirklich unverschämt weil wir ja auch für Etsy Payments Gebühren bezahlen. Ich kam leider über den Support auch nicht weiter....gibt es bei dir schon etwas neues? LG Ramona

Das Problem ist weiterhin da. Ich habe auch den Support kontaktiert und auch nur eine Vertröstung bekommen. Lustiger Weise konnte ein Kunde von mir mit Paypal bezahlen und die Bestellung ist normal durchgegangen. Also irgendwas läuft nicht so richtig.

Viel Potential geht durch diese Zahlungsmethode verloren. Gerade als neuer Shop
