Hi,
I am selling on Etsy for 4 months and till now I never received a payout. When I contacted Etsy, first they said that there was a technical issue. Later, they started telling me that my payout is scheduled to be sent out on Sep 05,2025. While my schedule is set to weekly. Now, there is amount available for deposit but it says 'it is on hold'.
I tried to reach Etsy but every time they replied with the same answer. This is really getting frustrating for me.
Is there any way to get this issue resolved?
Your shop is in Denmark but the rugs ship from the UK? And free shipping to U. S.
I don't see a Production Partner listed. Somehow I don't think we are getting the whole story.
@DenArtsShop: The way that you have your items listed you are saying that you alone personally make each and every one of the items you sell. Is that the case?
It Etsy has concerns that this may not be true they may be holding funds to protect themselves against a flood of 'not as described' claims.
The information given is all true. If Etsy has some concerns about that they should inform the seller if they are holding funds for that reason. But, here the case is not that simple. Etsy chat agent says 'there is a glitch in our system'.
If you are using a production partner you must show them.
Maybe Etsy thinks you are a reseller who is lying about handmaking these rugs yourself? That is how you have your shop set up. Where are your pictures of you working in your workshop making the rugs? Shops without this info are almost always resellers so you need to finish your shop before you get shut down.
That is really awkward! If Etsy thinks so, then why they are not shutting down my shop. If not, at least they should tell me the reason of the Hold on Payment.
Here the case is Etsy itself doesn't knows what is going on.
The agent on the chat says 'There is a glitch in our system'. The representative on email says' My payout is scheduled to 09-05-2025'. When I ask the reason, they have no answer to it.
@DenArtsShop -- Have you read this Etsy Help Center article? https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046998234-How-to-Receive-Your-Etsy-Payments-Deposit?segme...
The cost of your rug with free shipping is less than what it would actually cost to ship from Europe to the US. Is the plan to lose money on every sale?
Can speak to why Etsy is holding your funds, but I gotta say something is off with your shop. It makes no sense.
TVP?
New shops often get put on a payment reserve.

Otherwise, ensure that you have connected and validated your bank account (by entering the amount of the small deposit that Etsy will have sent to the bank account on file).
Ensure you have a valid payment card in the billing section of your finances page (Finances > Payment Settings > Billing)
