Payment processing

I made my first sale on Etsy, but I received a notification that it was not paid. Later, when I checked in detail, it was written that the payment was processed, it has been 2 days and the product has still not reached my customer. I don't understand why this is happening, can you please help me? What should I do in this process, what could be the problem with the payment?

Often payment processing is due to the buyer not passing security checks, or a problem with their card. There is nothing you can do. I have had payment processing one some orders last 72 hours. You can reach out to the customer, let them know what is happening your end, but other than that, you can only wait. Do not ship the item until the payment is processed.

You're selling instant downloads.

When you say the product hasn't reached the customer, do you mean it shows as not downloaded?

The customer choses when to download.

If the payment was eventually processed, then they have the ability to download whenever they like.

yes it is currently showing as undownloaded and the customer cannot access the file because it says processing payment

if it still says processing payment that means that the customers payment has not cleared. Could be they don't have funds on their card, or the card is invalid due to an past expiration date or that the card has been reported as stolen and there are probably other reasons for payment processing to take some time before a payment is confirmed or rejected.

The customer should not be able to download until payment processing has cleared. That's a good thing. It protects you.

I've seen some payment's take a few days to clear.
