I Just noticed that my Payment Account has been hacked and the hacker has changed the Account number to their own and are receiving the money from all sales. When I go into the tab to change the bank account it is asking me to enter the full account number of the hackers bank account, which I do not know. I have sent out 3 different support tickets to etsy with no response. Does anyone have any advice?
More than likely your computer is compromised and has a key logger.
The only way a hacker could change your bank account # is if they knew "your" bank account #.
Try changing the expiry date on your credit card to where it's showing expired.
That will prevent any more deposits.
You also need to change your password (preferably on another device).
You can check to see other logins to your account by going to
your account (account information) > security tab
Review your sign-in history
Make sure you recognize all recent sign-in activity for your account. You can sign out anywhere you’re still signed in.
Don't keep sending NEW tickets to support.
Each time you do this, Etsy will close the oldest ticket and you'll be at the back of the line again.
USE one ticket and keep replying "I still need HELP".
Here's a call back link.

The system will reject that as invalid. The only option is to remove all cards in Account info (buying cards), that will remove it from sellering end too.
@MollyAtHome your first review is Feb 2025, which indicates your shop is new. Did you click on any link asking to confirm your banking details? That's a scam.
@irmaKdesigns
I'd seen other posts suggesting changing the expiry date but removing the cc would work better.
I wonder too if the OP clicked a link to give scammers access to the bank account.
Earlier the OP's shop was on vacay and had a date of March 7th that her shop was having technical difficulties.
Now I see that the shop is currently not selling.
I just noticed I invented new word, "sellering"
It looks like etsy has taken notice, your shop is shut
@MollyAtHome Etsy has closed your shop.
Contact Etsy to work with them about this.
Sorry you have been hacked.
Outside of Etsy contact your bank. Get a new CC card. Check for malware or anything else. If you have sensitive items on computer or phone, change those passwords from a clean computer.
