I have 2 orders that say pre transit despite that they have already been delivered. When clicking the tracking number it shows delivered but in etsy's dashboard it is still showing pre transit. Has anyone ever had this happen and does it resolve its self? I have a new shop and am afraid it will mess up the algorithm and star seller. Thanks

After checking in here, we can confirm that your On-Time Shipping is currently at 100%. Please know that it may take about 24 hours after an order has been shipped for this score to update.
On the other hand, our engineering partners are currently aware of an issue where some orders with Etsy Shipping labels are still showing as 'pre-transit’ while the tracking site shows movement. We've added your reports to the ongoing investigation so the team can take a deeper look into what's going on.
At this time, we do not have a timeframe for when this issue will be resolved, but please know that we prioritize our technical issues based on the impact to our marketplace.

As of March 21, our engineers updated all USPS shipping labels that were purchased since the start of this issue. All labels that were stuck in the ‘Pre-Transit’ state due to this issue are now displaying the proper tracking information. You will also see these updates reflected in your Star Seller Shipping Score. For more information about this, you may check out this Forums Announcement.

I too have had several orders still showing pre-transit that have been delivered. I emailed Etsy days ago...crickets. Supposedly tech support is working on it. An update, any update, would be appreciated. There are other threads in shipping with these same complaints. I routinely keep my customers updated with the shipping progress for this very reason.
@MelnikMade @BedazzledbyDebi Numerous threads on this. You can contact Support to get them fixed, or wait for the overall fix. Phone support (request a call) works better than Chat, although some have gotten them fixed through Chat. I didn't. See solution and my reply here:

I must have worded it wrong when I searched, I kept finding pre transit issues for people who had packages in transit but mine were delivered... Thanks for the help I have a ticket in with tech support.

@TonsOfPaper This is still happening to many and not fixed as stated in the technical issues forum. I have 16 orders starting 2/28/23 that still show pre transit but have been delivered. My star seller stats just keep dropping daily due to this error. I have never once shipped late and this is quite discouraging to see every day. My shipping stats should be at 100%. I would be happy to provide order numbers, tracking numbers, and dates of delivery. I did this several days ago with no results from support.
I too am having issues. I last spoke to help Via chat on 3/17.. at that time I had 4 between my 2 shops showing pre-transit. I still have them showing pre-transit.. even tho delivered. My customers can't leave feedback because Etsy shows them not delivered. I mailed some more packages over the weekend and they are also showing pre-transit.. and I know the 6 I shipped today will also show it. It is disheartening to me and very frustrating..I stand in line at the PO and get that paper receipt and my SSP % is going down the tubes. I have been star seller from the start just doing my normal job here. I ALWAYS mail on time. My other shop HomespunTales.. just came off reserved payment.. and now it looks like I am not shipping on time there either..when I am and those customer have their items. I don't even know what to do anymore..I do chat and they it depends on who you get-- sometimes they can help as they did earlier last week.. and when I did chat at the end of the week and that person was zero help-- just that they would pass it on to engineering. And I gave detailed info with tracking numbers and links to USPS that shows delivered.

Hello! I have searched all the forums and tried multiple recommendations to try to fix this problem myself or to reach someone directly with Etsy, but I am having ZERO luck. I have 5 orders that have shipped, have tracking and are still showing "in transit" If you follow the tracking # it will show you that the package has in fact been delivered. When I try to contact someone at Etsy I keep getting "etsy is currently down please try again later message" These orders are being held in reserve so my money won't be released until they are delivered and of course this will reflect poorly on my shipping record. HELP I don't know what else to do.
I'm having the same problem with one of my orders. that says pre-transit but it's already delivered. I had to use an international company( Direct Link??) to deliver the package this time. When I click tracking number, It says that the package has been delivered at 4:33 pm on May 30, 2023 by USPS -as last carrier-.But Etsy's dashboard says that it is still in pre-transit. Do you think I should wait more? Thanks
@SerraJewels: Is your shipper supported by AfterShip https://www.aftership.com/carriers the 3rd party vendor that Etsy uses for tracking number validation and updating?
This was my first time(probably the last one) using this carrier and they're not in the list of the link you send:( I send a message to the company for help also. But not sure if they can help.
Actually this Carrier uses USPS as a partner I guess. Because when I follow the package I see USPS was the last carrier. When I check USPS with the same tracking number I see that it's delivered. If I can change the carrier to USPS on Etsy, my problem will be solved.
