Orders missing tracking info (But tracking included)

Since the inception of the star seller system, a certain type of tracking for me is not included at all and counts negatively towards the star rating. All orders I sent have tracking and almost all within the processing time ( >97% on time) .

The problem is with the local domestic shipping (Singapore Post - Smartpac) which is trackable on the post office's website and other third party tracking websites (eg. 17track). The third party vendor Etsy uses doesn't track it at all and marks it as "orders missing tracking info" (and/or "No" on "Shipped on Time" when you delve into the order history). It negatively contributes towards the star seller rating. Always wondered why my "On-time shipping & tracking" is always just slightly above 95%.

Kindly include it within the tracking for star seller eligibility. Thank you

Hello @DannysRemakeRemodel,

 

We've double-checked the orders affecting your On-Time Shipping metric for the current review period, and it appears that one order was shipped late and the tracking number on the other order can't also be tracked on the carrier's website. It is possible that the number entered may not be the tracking number, or a slight error may have been made in entering the number, or, the wrong carrier may have been added or chosen. Please check the carrier and the tracking number match. If the carrier and tracking numbers do not match, this will count as an invalid tracking number. You can check our help center article explaining how to add or edit a tracking number.

 

Additionally, prior to posting in a thread in the Forums, we ask that you please check if you are not bumping an old thread that hasn't seen any activity in a few months (or years, even). If that is the case, and you still would like to share your thoughts and get the conversation going - whether about this or similar topics, we ask that you start your own thread instead of bumping an old one.

@Studemann: Did Etsy Support or the Help Pages send you here? This is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

 

Unfortunately, Etsy has made it clear that they will not manually adjust Star Seller data, and if the shipping company you use is not supported by AfterShip then you can join the many many other sellers in the same situation.

AfterShip can track it as well so I don't see why there would be a problem. The help pages sent me here.

Same here, same problem and same place Etsy send me. So I guess it's still not resolved, big surprise. I am not missing tracking on any order but Etsy tells me half of my sells are missing it. Where else should I go to let Etsy know?!
