Orders less than $10 without tracking marked as shipping late despite shipping on time

Hi, whenever & ONLY when I ship an international order under $10 without tracking (which I ship with an international stamp as opposed to buying Etsy's shipping labels due to the high cost of international shipping), on the order breakdown spreadsheet, it is marked as shipping late.

I feel this is a bug in Etsy's side of the system. As far as I remember, it is only orders above $10 which are required to ship with tracking. I am never marked as shipping late when I ship orders using Etsy's labels, & only marked as shipping late when I ship without buying an label with tracking, even when I ship early or on time for international orders less than $10 USD. I am a US-based seller who only ships from the US, so my time zone (EST) should mean I am shipping things on time on the day Etsy is expecting me to ship them.

This is effecting my on-time shipping stat & I feel it is a bug causing me to be marked down for something which does not violate Etsy's on time shipping policy. If I am incorrect about how this works, I would genuinely like to know so I can remedy it in the future, but I feel this statistic is being calculated incorrectly due to a bug.

If you are shipping without tracking, then it would be impossible for Etsy to add these to the stats unless you sent the item with Etsy labels. This is not a bug, as the system can not see that you have sent the item, they only have your word for it.

For SS and CS, Etsy requires tracking or a label purchased on Etsy for all orders shipped by US sellers.  There is no threshold under which you can ship without tracking without it affecting your Star Seller or Customer Service rankings.  This is because US shipping is far less expensive and can include tracking on most services, even letters.

Other countries where tracking can be cost prohibitive, and/or Etsy does not offer Etsy labels, there are thresholds the order needs to reach before tracking is required.  I am in Australia where shipping is very expensive and tracking is unavailable on the basic and lower levels of shipping.

If Star Seller is important to you, you might be better off using Etsy labels, they include even letter options and while they may not have true tracking, Etsy accepts their use as proof of shipping.

For US sellers "If you mark an order as complete without adding tracking, it won't meet the requirement for Star Seller." https://www.etsy.com/starseller

However, these orders should be marked as shipped without tracking, not as shipped late as those are two different metrics.
